Missing/Endangered Child

Original Release Information:

The Clayton County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing/endangered minor.  Jody A. Palmer was last seen around midnight on January 5, 2019 and reported missing at 1:19 p.m.  Information collected by the Sheriff’s Office suggests Jody traveled east out of the State of Iowa.   However, it is possible she may be attempting to travel to the State of California.  Any information is helpful and can be reported to the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office at 563-245-2422 or email 


The Clayton County Sheriff’s Office with the assistance of the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigations continues to investigate the missing person’s investigation of 16-year-old Jody Ann Palmer of rural Colesburg, IA.  Anyone having contact or communication with Jody in the weeks prior to January 5th are asked to contact Sgt. Brent Ostrander at 563-245-2422.  Unfortunately, there are no additional details to release.
