Meeting of Board of Supervisors at their office, 200 E. Bridge St., Elkader, Iowa.
Present: Robert Walke, Neil Meyer, Larry Gibbs
A public hearing was held on the Top of the Rainbow subdivision preliminary plat of Dean and Sandra Refle. The Planning and Zoning Commission’s minutes of May 10th and a copy of the preliminary plat were available. No objections or comments were presented.
Motion by Walke, seconded by Gibbs, to grant first meeting approval to the preliminary plat of Top of the Rainbow subdivision with the understanding that any streets will not be dedicated into the county roads system. Ayes: Walke, Meyer, Gibbs
The board received quotations for calcium chloride base stabilization of 8.2 miles as follows:
Jerico from Indianola, IA $8,819.10; Scottwood Industries from Overland Park, KS $12,988.80; Sicalo from Alsip, IL $9,107.00.
Motion by Gibbs, seconded by Walke, to accept the quote of Jerico from Indianola, IA of $8,819.10. Ayes: Walke, Meyer, Gibbs
The board approved a claim for payment for a filing fee for an annual actuarial report.
Motion by Walke, seconded by Gibbs, to approve a request for historical architecture review and comment on a flood buyout property. Ayes: Walke, Meyer, Gibbs
